Drunk driving suspected in fatal car accident

Motor vehicle accidents, whether in Oklahoma or elsewhere in the country, always have the potential to injure and kill people. Sadly, a great many fatal accidents could have been prevented if drivers had simply followed traffic rules, driven while sober or otherwise acted responsibly.

Oklahoma City pedestrian struck by car, seriously injured

Oklahoma City residents would agree that a pedestrian hit by a car is usually bad news for the pedestrian. In addition to immense pain and suffering, a victim of an auto-versus-pedestrian accident also has to deal with significant expenses for adequate medical treatment. Additional financial challenges may also arise from lost wages and employment benefits. Not only are victims affected by an accident but, in a number of cases, the victim's family also has to bear the brunt of the accident, especially if the victim happens to be the sole breadwinner.

Collision between two delivery trucks turns deadly

Taxis, coach buses and trucks are all commercial vehicles that are used for different purposes. For example, trucks are used for delivering various loads from one place to another. In Oklahoma City and elsewhere in Oklahoma, trucks are often seen on major roadways and their drivers are professionals who follow strict delivery deadlines. That is why trucks and other commercial vehicles are often seen speeding, which makes them prone to collisions that can result in injuries or fatalities.

OKC woman hit by tractor-trailer on Arkansas Highway

Truck drivers should do whatever they can to avoid accidents whether they involve other vehicles or pedestrians. Unfortunately, accidents do happen. When a tractor-trailer accident occurs, a driver is obliged to render aid if possible and to report the incident to law enforcement immediately. Under no circumstances should a driver leave the accident scene.
