Legal_Intern_Photo_Andy_crop.jpgAndy Campbell began working at Nix Law Group in April 2010 as a legal intern.  Now as an associate attorney, Andy is privileged to begin his legal career representing the victims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death  at one of Oklahoma's premiere civil litigation firms - Nix Law Group PLLC.

Andy was born in Enid, Oklahoma, in 1985.  He attended Fairview High School where he graduated Valedictorian of his class and was a three-time State Finalist in Cross-Examination Debate.  Andy was also a student trainer for FHS football and was a member of the 1999 Class 2A State Championship team.

Andy continued his education at the University of Oklahoma.  Based on Andy's extensive activities throughout high school, Andy was chosen to be a member of the President's Leadership Class, a scholarship course facilitating leadership skills through diverse activities across the OU campus and the State of Oklahoma.  Andy was also employed as a document clerk for the law firm of Crowe & Dunlevy.  In 2008, Andy graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in History and Criminology.

While at OU, Andy worked as a student athletic trainer for OU Football, Basketball and Women's Soccer.  Through this experience, Andy was a member of the 2003 OU Football team that played for a national championship against Nick Saban's LSU Tigers in New Orleans.  Further, Andy had the distinct opportunity to work closely with the 2004 OU Football and the 2004/05 OU Men's Basketball Big 12 Championship teams.

After graduation, Andy was accepted into and agreed to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law.  At OU Law, Andy served in a variety of leadership positions including President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society (SELS) and the Dean's Council while also working as a research assistant for Professor Randall Coyne.  As President of SELS, Andy organized monthly luncheons that featured guest speakers in the sports industry, including coaches, athletic directors, sports agents and general managers.  Andy received his juris-doctorate from OU in May 2011 and passed the Oklahoma Bar Exam in September 2011.

Andy married Shana Campbell of Southlake, Texas, in May 2009.  Shana was a four-year starter on the OU Women's Soccer team, where she had six goals and thirteen assists in her career.  Shana currently works for OU Men's Basketball in charge of player & team development.  Shana also coaches youth soccer for Southlakes Soccer Club in Oklahoma City.  In their spare time, Andy and Shana enjoy traveling, attending OU and OKC Thunder games, and spending time with friends and family, including Andy's older brother Casey, who has served two tours in Iraq as an officer in the Army Reserves.
